Country Club of Sebring

This is a beautiful 18 hole championship golf course that is a Ron Garl design, winding through Highlands Hammock State Park. The course has scenic undisturbed landscapes on half the holes and many beautiful luxury homes lining the other fairways. There is a modest amount of elevation relief. Open to the public, this course is a well maintained open course with moderate speed greens, some tight fairways and water courses.

This is a popular well maintained 18 hole championship course with numerous doglegs and tree lined fairways making it somewhat difficult. However, most of the fairways are open. There is a moderate amount of elevations relief. The moderate speed greens are true and readable. Beautiful luxury and custom homes line the fairways.
Highlands Ridge South

This is a very popular and beautiful course in the area. Highlands Ridge South is the first of the Highlands Ridge courses and always kept in the best shape. It is quite challenging with tight fairways in some areas, numerous trees, ponds and creeks. This is a subdivision course with homes lining most of the fairways. There is a modest amount of elevation relief. This is a 55+ community with the course open to the public.
Highlands Ridge North

Come and enjoy the newest, most beautiful and most demanding of all the courses in the area. Highlands Ridge North is pristine and challenging with longer yardages, rolling terrain and doglegs. This is one of the best maintained courses in the area. The course is tight in some areas with water courses on a quarter of the holes. There is a nice amount of elevation relief and fast and challenging greens. This course is open to the public.
Pinecrest

Pinecrest Golf Club is one of Highlands County's most historical and most prestigious golf clubs. The 18 hole championship course is a Donald Ross design and was the site of the first televised PGA championship tournament and is open to the public. The gently sloping terrain provides a challenge as well as pictorial Floridian landscapes compete with orange groves. The course is very well maintained, with wide fairways and water courses on a few of the holes. There is a nice amount of elevation relief, moderate speed greens and the course is true and readable. No wonder the retired President of Titlist Golf calls this course home. I should know, I sold him his home!
Placid Lakes Country Club

Newly renovated in 2005, this championship 18 hole course layout features a fairly open design and quick Tiff-Eagle greens. The course is well maintained with a few tight fairways but mostly open fairways with a modest amount of elevation relief, moderate speed, predictable greens and water courses on half of the holes. This course is located near the southern end of Highlands County. This course is open to the public.
River Greens

This 18 hole championship course offers country club conditions on a public course. .The course is well maintained with tight fairways in some areas and water courses on half the holes. The signature hole is #9 which plays around Lake Tina. This is a subdivision type course with moderate speed, true greens and challenging.
Sebring Golf Club/Sebring Municipal

This a municipal 18 hole championship course that is open to the public. The course is very well maintained, with open fairways on all holes, and water courses on a quarter of the holes. There is a modest amount of elevation relief, moderate speed greens that are true and readable. The course is popular with locals and also with visitors and is fun to play.
Sun 'n Lake - Deer Run

This is a very well maintained 18-hole course designed by Charles Ankrou and is often used for major tournaments. This course was host to the Ladies Futures tournament in 2002. Deer Run is a longer challenging course, with trees and some water and is a popular course in Highlands County. The course has a modest amount of elevation relief with fast and true greens. The course is open to the public.
Sun 'n Lake - Turtle Run

Sun N Lake - Turtle Run is a slightly shorter course than Deer Run and designed by Don Dyer with undulating fairways and multi tiered greens. This is a very well maintained course with open fairways on most holes but tight on a few. Water comes into play on most holes. One of the more challenging holes in the county is Hole # 10, a 428 yard, par 4. There is a modest amount of elevation relief with fast and true greens. Beautiful homes custom homes line most of the fairways.
